Storytelling has always had a significant role in my life. Remembering back to evenings spent with family, listening to stories from my dad that talked about creation and existing amongst others in harmonious ways.
My art has always been an avenue to bring stories to life. Whether it be personal experiences or stories that have been passed down through generations of my people, this act of connecting with others by telling stories is an act of creating spaces for Indigenous, and specifically Tsuut’ina, experiences to exist.
